It was a mistake to runn Fiske Hill today--due to the conditions of the route. I turned into the National Forest and saw a sheet of ice wider than the path with an extra 30 gallons of water on top of the ice. Skating would have been much more appropriate. In any case, I had to walk in several area due to road conditions. It's wierd..almost 50 degrees, snow all over and in place ice all over. Still glad I got out!
