AWESOME!! So after talking to Dean about preparing for my sub 6 mile, he suggested I do quarter splits at my expected mile pace.... so even though I did speed work I decided to give a try but not only once a mile. Now after doing it, I think I'm going to redo my whole training and train at 6:00 mile using a combination of McMillan and Smartcoach and work my way up to the marathon, starting from scratch..... We'll see.
