First leg of the 4x8. The race got out fast which I was okay with and expecting but I wasn't expecting it to be that fast or to be in last after the first lap. Some kid cut me off at the start of the 2nd lap and I lost my footing cause of it and stumbled which dropped me probably about a second behind the pack. At this point I got really mad so I pushed back up to the pack and tried to recover as much as possible. While me falling cost me my sub 2 split(although Newman did have me at 1:59.8 sooo) and probably the team victory, it put me in a different mindset than I usually race in and I think I finished strong because of that. Next 800 I run is conference so I gotta get ready to get out wayyy harder and get in position where I can just hold on til the last lap(and so no one can cut me off lol)
