I ran 7 miles [59:30] this AM … 3 miles @ 25:14 then 2 miles hard @ 14:34 [7:17 pace] then 2 mile warm-down at 19:41. Got the new kicks on and my feet feel better. I look like a clown slapping those size 15 around ... but no bleeding nails. Probably ran the 2 miles a little faster than expected -- I felt like I was going to toss after mile 5 so that's about as fast as I can go sustained ... I wish I had another 5 mile race to see if I could get my time down to the 7:10 / mile pace. I think there is a 5k locally in Sept ... I am going to try to work that in so see how I can do.
