Ran the first 20 of the Toronto Waterfront Marathon. Thought it would be an easy course and it was a bit too easy ... pancake flat.

Took many miles to get the legs wound up to run faster. Plan was 18 and 20 if I felt good. At 13 I didn't know how I'd hold the pace till 18 but slowly the legs accepted it hand held it till 20. There's a 1:28 half buried in that workout.

Treadmill display froze at about mile 17 so I had to hold the pace until I reset it. At least the stop button worked.

Damn that's a long run on a treadmill. My PR this winter so far is 17 and I really hope not to break that. Nice pace in the last 10, too.
