Mile easy then 9 at MP the day after Mayor's Cup seemed to be ok so I repeated the workout. It was much, much easier having not run in the morning or 70 last week. Need to get that fatigue back in the legs again.
Dr. B commented on my OTQ goal "Steady, on Icarus," which feels very apt for training like today on the heels of a race. It's how I felt last month and how I'll feel the rest of this. How close can I get to the sun and not get burned?
I've noted for some time the middle of the treadmill felt like it had a channel. Well now that channel was bouncing. Turns out the deck is cracked. I'll have to get that fixed pronto.
