Notes
Straight from the Pfitz plan for today: Three miles progressively faster from 7:20 then 12 at marathon pace hitting each mile in the 6:40s to low 6:50s finishing in the 6:30s for good measure.
Drove over 11 hours yesterday and another 4.5 today. By the time I got home and turned around to run it was in the 30s, dark and raining. Really didn't want to deal with this workout but took it one mile at a time. I focused on running smoothly and efficiently, not trying to just run powerfully. Had some stretches of discomfort and doubts. Glad I managed it exactly as it was intended to be run.
GPS battery bugged out and died around mile 13 and seemed to only give about 5 miles of data. I tracked the run with my phone when the GPS started acting up so I could run the pace & mileage I wanted.
