Notes

17 miles strong on the treadmill. 2 weeks out from the Disney Marathon looking for the hottest situation I could run in. Sweated buckets and got chafed all to bits despite liberal body glide. Ran it as a bit of a progression. Started at about 7:50 and edged the pace down one click per mile and ducked under 7 at 10. Then settled in at 6:50 till mile 15 and then ran 16 at 6:40 then 17 at about 6:30.

Piling on the long hard runs has only made them easier. Who knows how this will translate on race day in two weeks. Even if it doesn't work out I know I've moved the fitness needle with all these long, quick, and hard runs.
