Notes

Ran on up to the Stoneham High track to run a beer half mile as a test/practice. Unfortunately that shook the beers up pretty good because it was like sucking down foam and really slowed down the drinking part. Set a chair about 5 meters from the finish line and guzzled, ran, guzzled, progressed 5 meters, and ran. The second guzzle went badly because the beer was foamy from the jog to the track but the run was fine. I could have knocked out a third lap and beer without much extra effort. One thing I learned is to burp as much as possible in the first hundred meters after pounding the beer.

Pretty happy with the result. It wasn't really that hard. Man, things must just get ugly towards the end or I've got the stomach for this.

Chris I so like reading the beer mile training. very impressed with the time to consume the beer. What kind are you drinking? I found ice cold coors light seemed to go down the fastest in my drinking days.

Ha! It was Yuengling at 4.4%. The international governing body states 5% minimum so I might move up to Bud soon.

I need to figure a time soon, even if just time trial. I've let myself go after Boston and my belly is ready. Soon I'll have to cut back to normal.
