I ran the Valentine's Day 5k this morning. It was 6 degrees with a pretty intense wind chill. This was definitely the coldest race I've ever run. My legs felt pretty sluggish, but I finished and wasn't that tired, I could've kept going at this pace. There was also snow on some parts of the course, so that didn't help much, but overall it was a fun time! I was partners with Evan Kohl and we won the team competition! We both ran 17:40 and got 3rd-4th overall. I only did a 10 minute warm up and 7 minute cool down, it was freezing!
