Ran a fartlek today. It went really well! I did a 15 minute warm up, then the fartlek was 6-5-4-3-2-1 minutes with 2 minutes rest after each. I did a 22 minute cool down to get to 70 minutes on the day. I did the 6-5-4-3 minute pick ups on the turf, then a youth soccer camp came in to use it so I finished the workout in the shell. When I was in the shell I was cruising at 5:20 pace, so I think I was probably around that pace for the whole thing.
