2013 Portland Rugged Maniac Obstacle/Mud race-
Harder than Warrior Dash, easier than Spartan. :)
Was very hard to keep going, with still being sick: throat was swollen half-closed, and reduced lung capacity - felt like I was trying to breathe through a straw with only 1 lung - but it turned out OK. Lester ran the course with me, and evidently we inspired each other to keep running when we felt like walking - I would look over and think "I really would love to walk for a bit and catch my breathe, but Lester's still running, so I can't walk", and as it turns out, Lester was looking over at me and thinking the same thing! :D
Next year I'll be able to pull this under 30 minutes I'm quite sure - as long as I'm not sick again and the obstacles don't get significantly harder...
