ran the first 9 at weird pace due to the weird route i was on. i was taking turns everywhere trying to avoid the monster hills out of the valley i was in. finally found a quiet stretch and opened it up for some mile repeats at aroun 7.10 pace for the last 5 miles. felt good to increase the pace as my left calf was really bothering me this whole run prior to that.
