good race although I wanted to be closer to 22 than 23. Mark Miller paced me through it and kept me in line.

HR isnt accurate. I think the strap is going bad.

Ran the first mile as planned and the effort seemed a touch high. 2nd mile went really well - slowed down 10 seconds but most of that is uphill. I felt good about that.

Mark coached me to shorten my stride and maintain effort up hills. At the top, open the stride and pick up the knees.

Felt pretty good until I had to climb the hill at Woodland and then I started really slowing down.

Didn't have much of a kick at the end. Mark was barking at me and I finally picked it up way late. I definitely gave it 99%. I was hurting. Lost 30 seconds on the last mile though.

Good race, new PR. On a flat course, can probably go 22:00
