Soggy and rainy throughout this year's Race For The Cure. This was a fitness test in which I learned I have no 5K gear - yet! I was never out of my comfort zone and couldn't get myself out there. Fast-twitch fibers are still in hibernation! It felt good to put forth the best effort I could and of course the purpose of the event is much more than what time I run. I thought about the names written on my back bibs and how much I HATE!!! cancer and that fueled me forward.
