It took 12 min to get to trailhead from home, so I am estimating 1.25 miles the way I went. Did Deer Lick in just over 40 min and made myself go easier on the bridle section so it would be more of a recovery run. I felt a lot more competent on the technical part. My head was in an awful place during the run and I tried hard to leave that on the trail.
