3 mile easy warm up, 3 X 2 mile Tempo intervals (7:41min/mi), 2 mile easy cool down. Physically I felt strong but mentally was struggling with negative thoughts. It took the TV coverage of inspiring Olympic athletes, repeating a mantra, and listening to "Flashdance" and "Fame" to see this workout through today, and am glad I did.
