Notes

Had a rare Monday opportunity here. Lauren has the day off, so she was able to take care of Katelyn in the AM.

I wanted to just log some distance without really going for speed or anything like that. It looks like it is going to rain almost everyday this week, so this was likely my last chance for a little while to get a run in.

I am going to have to set up the bike in the garage and get that all fired up. I have a 30 mile ride for the Tour de Cure on June 3rd, and I haven't been on a bike in ages! Maybe this rain is just what the doctor ordered...

Way to get out there this morning! I feel like you are turning the corner with starting up your training. Having gone out this early in the week, you are setting yourself up for success. I see rain in the forecast for only the next two days, so I'm hoping you can still run at least 2 more times (plus running in the rain can be nice). Perhaps one of the days you can sneak in a post work run while it's still warm to start getting used to the heat. You'll get your fitness back in no time!

Good to see you out there again Joe. I wouldn't worry about the pace at all. At this point we all just need to log miles. Also I agree with Dimitri running in the rain can be nice. Especially if it isn't cold. Also don't let weather be the only thing to hold you back. My community center has a gym. If your willing to make the drive to Belle Mead you're welcome to treadmill it with me.

Great job Joe! We have to keep up the momentum.
