Notes

Well, this was not an intentional 5K, that is for sure.

I felt totally tired from a long night with the baby, and my legs felt like sandbags. But, I kept an eye on my watch the first mile, and was shocked that I came out so quickly. I should have started a bit easier. I thought I dialed it back a bit on mile two, and was pleasantly surprised to see that number.

After that, I came to a fork in the road, if I went one way, it would've been another 2.5 miles, if I went the other way, it would've been roughly a 5K. I wanted to break that 3 mile mark for the first time this year!

That last mile was rough, and mostly uphill, but I am glad I did it. I had to get over my 3 mile marker hump! Happy Friday!!

So awesome! You had the choice between going home and making it longer and you chose the longer route! That's saying something. Your sweet run is now behind you and can really enjoy the rest of your day. Happy Friday, indeed :)

Way to go Joe - great start to the morning with a 3+ run! Congrats on yet another milestone, you're doing great - especially with sleep deprivation factored in!
