Notes

Well, it is good to be back in business here. I was feeling inspired seeing all of my friends accomplish great goals, and even my injured friends are taking on challenges...it's Insanity!

After a crazy busy week, and still shrugging off the remains of a rough sinus infection, it was good to get out and run again. I was definitely still stuffed up and irritated, but I think it helped 'shake loose' some of my mucous.

While I am not pleased with that third mile, I am glad I did it. After the first two I thought about just packing it in, but instead I knew I could handle it so I just did it. As per usual, the hardest part is just waking up early.

Great to see you out there again. With my latest cold, I found that doing a few easy runs did help to clear things up and then with a hot shower afterwards I would feel much better. Nice work hanging in there for the third mile!

Great work man. Just getting your foot out the door after a layoff is the biggest step you have to take. The best part is you can see that you didn't lose to much fitness as you avagered 9:30 pace. Keep up the good work!!

Yeah that's a solid run. Definitely can build on that. Those first two miles were kind of fast for you coming off a layoff. I know before my heart issue that pace would have gotten my heart to spike into the mid 150s.
