Notes

Woof. Took on an unsupported 4.8 mile leg at elevation on fairly rugged double track with some significant elevation gain in the heat of the day. Cholo, who had run the leg immediately preceding mine, decided to accompany me. In my excitement, I dropped Cholo on the first part of the leg that was supposedly rolling, but seemed like a lot more up than down. After a little bit I realized that I had hit it a little too hard on that part and began to really suffer. Then I thought I had taken a wrong turn, so I turned around and quickly found Cholo. We then finished the leg together. Definitely felt the effects of the day before and should have done some kind of shakeout in the morning. And I should have run slower at the beginning.
