COMMENTS: Bright sun and tailwind made it feel hot; lost lots of water on way out.
At halfway, turnaround point (The Quarterdeck),....left calf 'knotted' up badly (I don't think it was a 'pull or strain', or perhaps it was a slight strain.) Walked for a while, then jogged verrrrry slowly home again.
It was sore the rest of the day.
It was both a distance and a pace that I had done easily before.
