Notes
Well this is perhaps one of the hardest workouts I've done. The pace wasn't really that hard, and my heart rate rarely got over 160, but it is a pretty long time to keep up the concentration and effort. The whole thing was not helped by my left soleus deciding to act up. Right hamstring got a bit tender during the last interval. I'm sure this will be a great help to the marathon if I recover from it!! Also niggled by an infected left big toe, blister on the second toe because of bandaids on the big toe, and tonight I seemed to develop a blister underneath that foot! So I have some recovering to do!
This workout was Joachim's suggestion and he was a great support to do the run with. The track was very crowded though and we really had to do a lot of weaving.
