I absolutely just slogged through that run. It never felt good. The fact that I kept my body moving at all was an accomplishment. I did many things different this morning and in addition to the fact that I ran today even though I knew I didn't want to I think I know why it felt so shitty today. Woke at 7 was out the door by 730. Didn't eat anything. That alone could explain the lack of energy. No coffee, small dinner last night, low carb dinner last night. Woke up knowing I would get a better run if I waited until tomorrow, but I wanted to get the run out of the way for the weekend. I thought I would be proud I had done it. I guess that I am glad it is done, but I need to be ok with putting it off until another day too. Also factor in Julie. If she is to have a chance to stay with me tonight I wouldn't run tomorrow. All things said...it is a cut back week anyway, it is 8:45 am and I already ran 5 miles. In comparison to others, I rock!
