RE: we are still "building" and the best way to get strength in is by doing hills (just 1-2 times a week though if you do them). Well no one likes to do hills so what I like to do on my moderate pace runs is to hold my pace (or say go a bit faster if comfortable) on the hills/short inclines (for you that's 10 min) and then slow it up on the downhill/downhill inclines for recovery (say just go downhill at 10:30).
