Four Lakes

Notes

Dizzy is the last thing I felt after running the Four Lakes workout. Warmed up nice and easy with Group 3. Did all 6 hills. First 3 I was with the group, then around 4 5 6 I started falling back slowly. Around 5 6 I was with Spivey which helped. By the time the fartlik started, I was already falling back after the first 2 min on. I started to feel dizzy and just tried to back off and jog faster than normal to keep the group in my eye sight. Harvey then started to pull back so he just stayed with me. We hit a light and had to stop and thats when i really started to feel my head spinning in circles. I decided to run with Mascote because he caught up behind me. I felt better after about a 2 minute jog after stopping at the light and resumed the workout with a 3 min on and 1 min on and a 4 min on and 1 min off, etc. Finally got to the top of the hill and couldn't really talk at all because I was so dizzy. Jogged down to res rec and did like a 1200 cool-down with the rest of the group. I'm very impressed with myself because that's the hardest I've ever had to push myself mentally and physically. Next time I will drink more water and adjust how I run all the hills so I can stay with the group on the fartlik.
