Notes

Ran 18 miles at rail trail. My longest in my buildup and longest in many years. Felt OK for the most part, better than last long run. Didn't struggle as much, even though the pace was off at times. First mile was in 7:22, next 3 were under 7 minutes. Was able to get some control after that without completely falling apart. Tried gels for the first time and it was hard to get down, just disguesting! I do think it helped some. Hamstring was beat up, but i think (I hope) it will be OK. Really need to focus on a lot during this next month. Good run overall, just need to recover as much as I can and get ready for the next step.
