Tried to run fartlek workout on roads. Did not go well as I strained by right calf during the workout. Could feel the calf was tight warming up and decided to try the workout anyways (ran my hydrant run). Should have just bagged it and jogged a few miles as it was very tight and burning after the second rep. Form was off and everything was falling apart. Rested some and tried to jog but calf cramped up only a little bit into the jog. Just frustrating but need to be smart and let this thing get better. Rest of me OK.
