Wanted to run something a little faster, but also wanted to be smart and try to not damage my slowly healing hamstring. Ran 5 pickups of about a minute through Holly Hills. Took about 3+ minutes recovery after each rep. Tried to keep the pace in check and averaged about 6:40-45 per rep. Definitely slower than what I have been doing but also slow enough to allow me to do a workout without hobbling home. Hamstring was OK and was only slightly tight. I could tell I wasn't as loose on my reps and was shortening my stride to not overstress my leg. There was a rep were I was hitting about 6:30-35 pace, but I couldn't hit that after (think it was the second rep) and probably was a smart thing. Rest of me OK and this is encouraging. Just have to be super careful and not rush back into it.
