Ran 3 min hard with 2 min. recovery runs. Did about 5 of them on 5k course in development. Ran much better than I thought I would. Starting to push things a little and shortened the recovery time today. With the recoveries, first mile came through in 5:59, 2 in 6:01, and 3 in 6:02. Pretty even pacing for the most part. Didn't check, but 3 miles should have then come through in about 18:02. Using new Garmin 405 so I hope things are accurate. Mile splits were about in the normal spots, so I guess things are pretty close. Will have to see how the watch performs in a race. Body is OK, just tired. Hamstrings held up for the most part, no real pain and the tightness is less.
