1.5 mile warm up, 2 miles cut down (6:45, 6:30), 1 min rest, 2 miles T (6:25-6:30), 1.5 mile cool down

2 mile cut down- 6:32, 6:36

2 miles T- 6:33, 6:23

This was the first faster workout I've done in a while. Overall, it felt pretty good to hit tempo pace. The two mile cutdown, which was really just a 2 mile tempo, was a little rough. My IT band was bothering me. However, it seemed to loosen up, and my last mile was not only my fastest mile, but it also felt the most relaxed. I didn't go straight through the two mile tempo. I took a break to stretch after each mile.
