I thought today's workout went okay. We were on the outdoor track, and it was super nice out, so it was the type of day that makes me remember why I love running! My calf was a little tight throughout the workout. It was the same pain I've been feeling. I also had some pain in my left hip. I think this pain came from my left leg over compensating for my right calf the past couple of weeks. It's kind of a sharp pain, but I don't think it's an injury. I think it's more just irritation. It's actually been bothering me since Sunday, but it usually gets better throughout the day. Coach said I looked like I was limping when I was running, so he had me only do six sets instead of eight. I felt like I could've pushed through all eight sets, but I know that probably wasn't what was best for me. The work that I did get in felt good, and I actually thought I had more pain during the three minutes rest than when I was running.
