Today's speed workout went fairly well. My breathing has been pretty rough the last couple of days, so I finally went to the campus doctor this morning. She said I have some fluid built up in my lungs and put me on a steroid to help. Obviously this isn't ideal the week of conference, but it's not something I can control, so I'm trying not to dwell on it. I dealt with the same thing the week of district track last year, and I was fine by state, so I'm hoping the same will be true this time.
