Today's workout was probably the hardest workout I've ever done volume wise. There was a lot of hard running involved and not a lot of recovery. My calves felt a little tight on the warm up and during the the first half of the tempo, but after that they didn't really bother me. I did do the mile on the treadmill, because I didn't want to risk aggravating them more. They were pretty tight all week last week. Overall, this workout was pretty difficult, but I was able to hit all of my paces, and I feel like it's a good confidence booster heading into the 5k this weekend. There was supposed to be an 800 added on to the end, and I felt like I could've done it, but at the same time, I was pretty tired, and I don't want to risk overdoing it.
