1mi then to lakefront S to Oak St. wind SE 10-20, weather report suggested it was not that windy, but truth was quite different. It was pretty tough going S but when I turned around, I just cruised N as it pushed me along for 3.5mi. finally ran harder (maybe to and was able to lengthen my stride after so many days of short careful strides due to ice, snow, wind and cold. lakefront path was good, dry and clear.
