Went with Emisael, Sean, and Uriel to Cross Country Challenge. Hoping for better than 2004 when shins beat up from the ice left me barely able to run. After snow and rain on Saturday, I knew it would be sloppy and when we got there kind of felt it was a mistake but it went well. The high school kids seem to love the race. Single track, marshy mud and steep hills slowed things down, but I escaped with only slight scratches on ankles. Emisael got out kicked and finished 2nd, I was just in front of Sean; Greg W and Uriel followed within a couple of minutes. Left home before 7 and returned after 2 for a rather long day.
