S then N to track. light rain. was very sore and stiff going into the run, especially hips, presumably from sprints and drills yesterday. I did not feel up to a workout, but once I was out there I decided that I need to push myself. 4x20sec strides/surges up small hills or slight inclines. At the track, 8x200m in 40-42 sec with 200m recovery in 85-90. I was going to try to blow out the last one, but my right hamstring said 40 was as good as I could do; it was not a cramp or strain but just basically that muscles and tendons are old and not that supple and flexible and cannot take the stress.

Overall a slow run but hopefully pushing the pace for short bursts can do some good.
