to USole, lakefront, S around Navy Pier, N to end, S to Barry, N to Addison and Waveland home. It was raining hard the first hour and mostly light for the remainder; lots of puddles. Once out there, I felt like I might as well keep going and get in a run over 20mi, didn't realize how much wet shorts were chafing inner thigh. First half was significantly faster around 7:20 and second half around 7:50 ave because I started out trying to stay with the group. They picked up the pace and I eased off. approx 2mi @ 7:40, 10 @ 7-7:30, 6 @ 7:45, and last couple over 8:00, really tiring. knee a bit sore afterwards, took 1 ibuprofen. toast w/ pb before and only water during.
