very, very slushy with deep, wet, slushy puddles incl at almost all the crosswalks. to Jen's, Argyle to lakefront, S to Montrose, N to Lawrence, Clark back to Addison and home. 4mi with Jen. I don't know if I needed them, but the screw shoes worked well other than they did nothing to keep my feet dry.
