Not sure where the 10mins at over 176 came from, but it was definitely there on the watch. I certainly wasn't pushing that hard and think I would struggle to truly get my heart rate that high from running. I can't proove it either way though.

This all went wrong at about 15k, again due to toilet issues. Stopped for 15+ secs, walked a bit, stopped again and then started running again. Headed home and then back out. Couldn't complete though and was both out of energy and left shin/calf very sore around mtss site. Not too worried about failing the run but more concerned about the leg as I though I was getting over this.

Good news is that the right ankle feels good and pretty free. I still completed a 56k (35mile week) so perhaps this was just too much to ask at the end of a heavy week. Will just take it easy over the next seven days and need to ensure that my pace for the easy runs is nearer to 6m Ks rather than getting carried away with the pace as per last week, also need to tackle the long runs with a slower pace in the early stages. The goal is to complete the run!! Will also consider taking something along that will help with the energy levels after 13 mile mark.

Oh and my shirt rubbed on my chest (not nipples) which bled, and my HRM strap also dug in and bled. Looked like I had been shot by the time I got home. Weird when I've used that shirt for almost all my long runs.
