Notes
The weather was as perfect as I can remember for a hospital hill run and was 70 with 50% humidity. There was a strong head wind but it felt good to have it on the return trip. Started slow and ran with a group of guys for the first 8 miles. Broke away from them, running a 7:35 during mile 9. Hit the 10 mile mark at 1:18 really good, however, in the back of my mind was worried about Broadway hill. Here I fell apart, running mile 11 in 9:17 and then 12 in 9:59. At somewhere along the way, I was passed by a dude wearing a Mexican wrestling mask and cape (he had on compression sock and racing flats which makes me feel better). Need to determine why I can’t run through Broadway hill. Anyway, felt good for the main part and a new PR to boot.
