My 10k split was 1:00:32. My 10k pace was 9:45 and I was 53 in my age group at that point. I got a cold last Sunday and it progressively got worse as the week went by. I was sent home for being sick from work on Thursday and was sick again on Friday.
I was not ready for this race in health or fitness, but I ran it and finished.
