Not sure what to say about this one. I can't blame it on conditions, being sick, etc. I felt good going in, just couldn't seem to hold the 6:10 pace I wanted. Either I haven't got back into the shape where I was before I got injured, or I just had a bad day. I definitely feel like I left nothing on the course out there. Missed placing 3rd in my age group by 20 seconds.
I still have a lot work to do as I'm 30 seconds over McMillan's prediction for a sub 2:55. This course was perfectly flat besides a few small bridges so I don't have any course difficulty to factor in.
