I headed to Duniway alone today to do my workout. Joel told me to go for 6:40's on my 2 mile intervals.

I don' t understand how I can run 6 miles at 6:49 pace but 2 miles at 6:40 just about kills me?

is it b/c I am tired from the race or that I just have tonnes of adrenaline when I race?

anyway....it may not seem like much but these were HARD!

My first set was good....6:39 pace:):)....then up to do hills.....

the 2nd set was really hard...I feel far behind on lap 3 and spent the next 5 laps trying to catch up....so I wasn't terribly disappointed with my 6:43 pace the 2nd time around. My legs felt like Jello......

then back up for MORE hills......who created this workout???!!! ;o)

Anyway...by the time I finished the hills I realzied I was SO late to pick up Megan and Erika...I toyed with just leaving but stayed the extra 3:00min to do at least 1 of the 800's I was supposed to do.

I seriously was SO tired but I told myself (come on, you can get under 3min! it's now or never).

I literally pee'd my pants the whole way through( that is sacrifice! lol) and when I finished my legs and hands were shaking with fatique....but i did it!! and I was very proud of my workout:)

sadly..I didn't even have time for a cool down and Megan was 20min late for school:(:(:(
