Today was a good workout. I ran in a tank in JANUARY!!! so nice:)

Met Joel at the Nike campus I wasn't feeling too hot...stomache was acting up a bit. felt tired....but i pushed through my 200's..I think I found a good pace and was VERY consistent at hitting that mark every time....which I know is important in this kind of workout.

After my 16 200's I told Joel I didn't think I could do a hard mile....so he said I could do 800 ...but I wanted to try for the mile. I hate being a baby.

He was right...running at a 6:15-6:30 pace after running at a 5:00min pace for all those sprints felt easy. (it felt like 7:00 min pace to me)

I was scared I was gonna get sick so i didn't push myself as hard as I could....until the last mile....so I was surprised I ran a 6:29 without mputting in my full effort. That kinda got me thinking and I felt regretful that Ididn't push for that mile.....next time. I can't be doing that crap. Joel is so patient, thankful for that. He told me If I am afraid to feel the pain or see what's around the corner I'll never reach my full potential. That got me thinking b/c I certainly don't want that.

I am going to give it my all on this upcoming 10K.....I am curious to see how much Progress I've made since September when I ran my last one.

I feel good about todays workout. I worked hard and I learned something from my mistakes so that is good:)
