Great run with Amanda and Steph! we started off slow (8:45, 8:38 etc)..the SLOWLY cut down. We got under 8min pace around mile 8 (7:54), then 7:50, then our last 3 miles were 7:42, 7:41....and THEN Amanda decided to challenge us to the last mile under 7min pace. at first in my head, I was like "seriously, Amanda? why are you doing this? " lol..I was so tired and didn't think I had anything left in my little legs, but I am not one to be complacent so I went for it and ran a 6:50 for mile 13.

I learned that you can ALWAYS dig deep and give more even when you think you got nothin' left. great lesson for my upcoming race:):)
