RPE 7. Felt better than Friday a.m's run. I suppose I did a good job of rehydrating after Sats humid ride. I am not sure why todays run felt easier than Friday a.ms run. Today I did run one mile stop and then stretch before continuing. Or perhaps there has been some residual benefit from a fitness stand point from the Texas Man half. Anyway, todays run was easy. Stretch afterwards!
Just an observation over the past 3 weeks of recovery runs. I have noticed that I run more efficiently in a group..Perhaps I am more motivated to run in a group and that is what helps contribute to my confidence level or effeciency. But today was just another well executed run workout in a group. And even though I fell behind for over a mile stretch from the group, I stuck my ceiling of 145 HR and regained at MY effort level.
