RPE 7-8. cadence 88-91. Legs feel like they have recovered from the bad running technique. Got up stretched and went to the lake. I felt a bit fatigued early on. After mile 1, stopped to stretch again. The next couple of miles I kept my ceiling HR 145. Felt good. Surprised at the pace. As the run went on I noticed i my HR continued to spike and my pace began to decrease. Faitgue I am sure played a factor. I do understand that the run back has slightly more elevation. It took me a while to figured out why every run I have done at the lake beginning at the paddleboats heading towards mockingbird felt more difficult on the return trip. We both know it is flat. But nevertheless, there is the tiniest of inclines on the return trip. Enough to always elevate my HR and slow my pace.
