RPE 8. Woke up with slightly fatigued thighs from yesterdays quality bike., Stretched. Been doing abs exercising 5-6 days per week over the past 2 weeks first thing in the a.m. Trying to be proactive. I have been riding my tt bike more than my road bike. I have noticed in yrs past that my back begins to get tired. So trying to proactively work abs to strengthen back and abs. Not doing much less than 5 mins. But it will help in the long run. Began run feeling like my legs were filled with cement. Kept HR less than 130. Stopped at mile 1 and stretched. Felt better after stretching. You can check out graph that shows a rather steady HR after this point. Stretched afterwards. Began with a cadence of 96. Checked it 3 other times throughout at 93,93, and 91(towards the end).

I used to be a much better runner(years ago). I also never rode a bike or swam. It is difficult to go out for a run(like this a.m.) and not be able to feel as fresh (or have that spring in my step) as I once had when I was running only...
