Notes

Cut this one short by a bit because I started to get a twinge in my left side. Not a side stitch, but more of the muscle right above my hip flexor - it didn't hurt so much as really start to nag at me. It's too close to Tyler, to the last long runs I need to build my confidence, to risk anything. So I took a shortcut home & ended up with 5.3 instead of 6. I'll stretch tonight and see how it feels tomorrow - if it goes away I'll add the extra .75 to tomorrow's 4-mlier, if not, I won't worry about it.

As far as pace, I tried to go out slow again and failed miserably for the second day. I am just going to have to moderate it as best I can on race day and pull it back as much as possible, knowing that if I start out at 10:00s that I will slow down in the later miles.
